If the software developer have set the requireAdministrator tag in the app.manifest file for the executable file of the program, you can't do anything. Try to right-click the program icon and press Properties. In the Shortcut tab, select Advanced, un-check the Run as administrator box and click OK. Also, go to Start, type regedit and open the utility. Press the Software folder under the HKey-Local-Machine option and navigate to Advantech Device Manager. Right-click on the utility, select Permissions and check the Full Control box for all groups or user names. Click Apply and then OK.
